Kevin advised inspection of the exterior of the property, including the roof, windows, doors, chimney, and porches, and to check the water and septic systems, and the siding material. He emphasized that a well-maintained exterior usually indicates a well-maintained interior, but advised to be prepared for potential upgrades or repairs. Kevin also discussed the potential increase in property value after improvements are made, with Kevin sharing his experience of a significant increase in the value of their current home after they made necessary upgrades.
